A New Day for America

America has made its voice clear. On November 2, citizens elected a GOP-controlled House of Representatives. It is no question that the Tea Party had a huge impact on the 2010 elections. Americans are rallying for real change. Republicans plege lower taxes, smaller government, and less spending while their time in office. Also popular among Republicans and conservatives is the repeal of ObamaCare. It is important that the GOP listens to the American people. After all, it is the people of this country that put them in their positions. In addition, Republicans need to hop aboard the Tea Party wave that is sweeping across America. Tea Partiers know exactly what needs to take place in order for America to go in a better direction. We cannot afford to continue to go down the path that we are headed. America needs people who will listen to the people and not go along with the political insiders in Washington.

Arizona Leading the Way

Arizona has finally done what no other state has done before. It has cracked down on illegal immigration. Many on the left believe that Arizona overstepped its boundaries in passing this legislation. They believe that Arizona's law is too harsh on illegal immigrants. In fact, federal law is TOUGHER than Arizona's new law. Federal law does not require police to give any reason for asking for immigration papers. The law in Arizona requires law enforcement to have another reason for asking for these types of documents, such as another suspected crime. We should congratulate those that worked to pass this law for Arizona. It will provide a much needed relief in the illegal immigration problem that America faces today. Illegal immigrants have no right to be here - that's why they are called "illegal" immigrants. We have a responsibility to crack down on this issue and to make it clear that we will not tolerate Mexicans illegally coming to this country. We need to encourage more and more states to take similar measures.

Once again, congratulations, Arizona!

Tax Day = Tea Party Day

As the American people do their annual "patriotic duty" as Joe Biden would say, the popular Tea Party movement continues to gain momentum. Ever since April 2009, this group of people have fought and petitioned for less taxes, less government control, more state and individual rights. This has become a movement by the people, for the people to tell the liberals in Washington that enough is enough. The American people need to continue their support for this "change" we can really believe in. The Tea Party movement is like no other. We as citizens have the right to stand up to our government and to voice our opinions. That is exactly what Tea Partiers believe in. Come November 2010, the winds of "change" will blow through Washington, D.C.and oust those who are involved in the common political corruption and bring in a new group of people, who will voice the opinions of the people.

Time For A Real Change

It seems as if Americans are loosing freedoms every day. Politicians are not listening to those who gave them their jobs in the first place. This is not how the American government was set up to work. Our founding fathers had the intention for those running the government to work for the people. This is not how it is today. Most politians do not work for the people; they work for themselves. It is time that the American people demand to have a real change. Barack Obama promised "change", but it isn't the type that Americans want. Let's stand up for the freedoms and futures that belong to us and future generations. We cannot afford to sit on the sidelines and do nothing any longer.

Health Summit: What did it accomplish?

Last weeks, health summit had less of an effect than the beer summit did. Barack Obama and the Democrats have dug themselves an even bigger hole on this one. Obama seemed very laid back and nonchalant throughout the entire summit. Even Joe Biden commented (not knowing his microphone was still on during a break) that the vice president's job is very easy. This, in the mind of many Americans, seemed very unprofessional with a subject that requires a lot of attention. Looking on the Republican side of the aisle, the people are seeing their plan for the very first time. This has increased public support for the plan that they proposed. Obama and the far left extremists just don't get it. People don't want the government to be in control over their health care. Look what the government has done in the past in trying to take over industries. It never works. That's not the government's job.

Major Snow Headed for DC - A message for US leaders?

With the major winter storm that is supposed to come to the Washington D.C. area, it's hard not to ask if this has anything to do with what they have been doing lately like HEALTH CARE. Maybe God is trying to tell them something. Just maybe. Of course Obama, Pelosi and their possy wouldn't acknowledge what they have been doing wrong because they haven't been doing anything wrong, RIGHT. It seems if the major portion of the storm is supposed to hit directly at the D.C. area. Maybe those in government ought to look at this as a sign.

Palin: Truly "Going Rogue"

It seems like only a short time ago that if you were to mention the name "Sarah Palin", people would have no clue what you were talking about. Now, it is a well-known name. So how did this once unknown figure make it into the political spotlight? If you were to ask an ordinary person about this, they would say by being Senator John McCain's vice-presidential candidate in the 2008 election, she is know in the spotlight. There is no doubt that was when she made her national debut, but why is she still making national headlines? The truth is that Sarah is becoming more and more known for "Going Rogue". It isn't just a book title, it is how she lives her life. After reading the book (and many are able to see it without reading it), you know that she doesn't conform to the norm. It doesn't matter whether Republican or Democrat, if she doesn't like it, she won't follow it. A good politician will go against what everyone else is doing or saying to fight for what's right. Sarah Palin is a good example of that. She isn't afraid to tackle self interest groups, big spenders and corrupt government. America needs mroe people like her. Palin loves her country and whether or not she runs for office in the future, she will continue to fight for the American people.

February 1: The Beginning of Black History Month

February 1st marks the beginning of Black History Month. One question that I ask is why this was ever set up. I know that I will probably be called a "racist" by the media for even bringing that up, but what can I say about a liberal media who blows everything a person on the right says completely out of proportion. In fact, I am not a racist, I just don't believe that Black History Month should have to forced down our throats. There is no doubt that African Americans have contributed greatly to this country. However, there are many white people that have made their contributions too and we do not have a "White History Month". Those that want to learn about contributions of African Americans can do so. We just don't want to have to listen to it for a complete month. It is fine to acknowledge those African Americans who helped America be what it is today, but we don't have to act like they are some kind of gods.
